The Makita 18V LXT® Brushless Cordless 24” Hedge Trimmer (model XHU09) is part of Makita’s wide range of cordless outdoor power equipment. The XHU09 Hedge Trimmer has a 24” blade for increased cutting capacity and a Makita-built brushless motor that delivers 4,000 SPM for faster cutting speed when set on the high-speed option.

It features a 24” dual action double-sided steel blade provides optimal performance, with the power to cut thick branches 3/4" in diameter. It is compact and ergonomic at only 38" long, and weighs up to 40% less than gas models. It offers up to 45 minutes of run time with 18V LXT® 4.0Ah battery (battery not included)

The cordless XHU09 has zero emissions and reduced maintenance: there's no engine oil to change, no spark plug to replace, and no air filter or muffler to clean. And there's no need to drain the fuel for storage. Simply pick up your XHU09, load an 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion battery (sold separately), and the trimmer is ready to use.
