The K-Line 7000 Series Modular Coil Packer has proven to be one of the most effective means of packing a seed bed to improve germination. Moisture is retained through the firming and sealing of the seed bed, and the pressing gives optimum seed-to-soil contact even in the presence of trash and stubble. 7000 Series Coil Packers condition the soil so it is friable and receptive to additional rainfall. They also leave a herringbone pattern to control wind and water erosion. These two features help to prevent the crusting and washing or scaring commonly associated with the solid drum and roller.

The 7700 Series Hydraulic Coil Packer Unit provides the benefit of 7000 Series Coil Packers while keeping length to a minimum and lifting hydraulically for ease of transporting. The coils have two flexible joints to allow following of ground contours and the herringbone ground pattern helps to control wind and water erosion. The 7700 Hydraulic Coil Packer Unit is a versatile implement that can be used behind a seed drill or as a stand-alone unit.
